The Challenge:

Our client loved their music and wanted a full sound with rich bass in a very large kitchen/family room space but without any ugly speaker boxes being visible.

Our Solution:

Working with the designer we were able to use the space behind the dishwasher to hide a 12” sub-woofer into the island bar that vented into the kitchen area through a grilled vent covered in black cloth (see the photo – right hand end of the island bar). This sub seamlessly blended with the six flushmount in-ceiling speakers that were evenly distributed across the large space, producing high quality sound with rich bass.
